Q: How you have started running/cycling & your milestones so far?

During 2017 & 2018, I was in extreme stress & depressed and did smoking as i lost my father which causing me very unhealthy. At the end of 2018, I got high blood sugar PPBS – 498 where I had dragged into danger zone & those were the hardest days for me to recover. My family Dr. strongly advised me for insulin along with some physical acitivities. So, Initially started with insulin and then to medicine. As simple as like walking had started in mid of 2019 and in the end of the same year shifted to Vadodara.

My first 5K run completed in Jan – 2020 and got motivated to move on but life was never easy as i had been suffered with high blood sugar with low hypoglycemia. Unfortunately, covid19 pandemic came and all got stuck again & from where it was difficult to manage the fitness. Later on, I got chance to join in Vadodara Runners group in July 2021 and from there, i inspired & motivated from many runners specially Mr. Rajinder Paaji. From there on, I have started doing it consistently and got fair result. Even my high blood sugar is now in controlled as like normal human body and seek reversing of the same. I have seen vast changes in me in terms of improve quality of life, increase well-being, reduce stress and gain fitness. I no longer need to take insulins for Diabetes & quit the smoking, which is the biggest reward in my life. Many many thanks to Vadodara Runners.
